The largest and newest space telescope in the world is providing a new perspective on Jupiter, complete with auroras. On August 22, scientists published images of the largest planet in the solar system.
Jupiter is a giant gas planet with an outer atmosphere that is mostly hydrogen and helium with small amounts of water droplets, ice crystals, ammonia crystals, and other elements. It has similar materials that make up the sun. White, orange, brown, and red shades can be seen in clouds made of these substances.
